A Partnership Rooted in Purpose Since 2017
We have been partnering with Kalahari New Hope since around 2017, when God placed a deep burden on our hearts to serve the poorest of the poor. This mission began not out of convenience, but out of conviction—a calling to bring hope, provision, and the love of Christ to people often overlooked by the world. What started as a small act of obedience has grown into a meaningful and lasting partnership built on faith, compassion, and shared purpose.
Supporting Indigenous Communities in Namibia
Namibia’s indigenous population, particularly those living in the harsh Kalahari Desert, lead extremely difficult lives. Their day-to-day existence is shaped by limited access to clean water, food, shelter, and healthcare. Most live in remote areas, sustaining themselves through traditional means in a landscape that offers little. Yet even in these severe conditions, we see a community resilient in spirit and full of potential. Brother Ovi Pater, a trusted partner and faithful servant, continues to share stories of transformation and growth among these communities, reminding us that God’s work is flourishing even in the driest places.
A Harvest of Faith Amid Hardship
Despite the overwhelming physical challenges, we’ve witnessed an undeniable spiritual revival among the indigenous people of Namibia. While they may lack what most of us would consider the basics for survival, God is working mightily in their midst. Churches are being planted. People are coming to Christ. Children are learning to pray. It is nothing short of a modern-day miracle. What we’ve seen is that where material poverty is present, spiritual richness often abounds—and the people of Namibia are experiencing a harvest of faith, joy, and hope.
Providing Resources to Empower the Mission
Over the years, we’ve been able to support Kalahari New Hope in practical and impactful ways. Our contributions have included equipment, food, tools, construction materials, clothing, school supplies, and more. These donations don’t just meet immediate needs—they empower the local leaders and community members to build a sustainable future. Every shipment is packed with love, prayed over, and delivered with the intention of not only meeting physical needs but also uplifting spirits. The mission continues to grow, and with each contribution, the ripple effect of hope widens.
Educating the Next Generation of Leaders
One of the most powerful aspects of Kalahari New Hope’s work is their commitment to education. The organization runs a school where children—many of whom are the first in their families to receive formal education—are being taught to read, write, and think critically. More importantly, they are being raised in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. These young boys and girls are learning not just how to survive, but how to thrive. With God’s help, they will rise up to become fearless men and women of faith, capable of leading their communities and spreading the Gospel throughout Namibia and beyond.
